Eventique Event with Conrad

Hilton Humanitarian Symposium & Prize Ceremony (2016)

Established in 1944 by the hospitality magnate Conrad N. Hilton, the family foundation of his namesake improves the lives of disadvantaged people on every continent. Recognized for providing the largest humanitarian award in the world, the foundation asked Eventique to produce the 2016 Conrad N. Hilton Foundation’s Humanitarian Prize with an event that would capture a particular milestone for the foundation, as it would also reflect on the past twenty years of philanthropic endeavors while looking ahead to future needs.

Held at the iconic Waldorf Astoria in New York City, the evening celebrated the work of the winning laureates over the past two decades, along with honoring The Task Force for Global Health, who received that year’s $2 Million Humanitarian Prize. To highlight those who received the distinguished award from previous years, Eventique created custom built light boxes arranged as a gallery during the cocktail reception, featuring curated images from the pillars that the foundation supports.

Powerful performances from traditional African drummers and world-renowned musician Youssou N’Dour enhanced the energy and excitement in the room. Attendees and presenters also included: David Miliband, head of the International Rescue Committee; Gro Harlem Brundtland, former Prime Minister of Norway; Steven Hilton, the President and CEO of the Conrad H. Hilton Foundation; Thomas Fenn, Senior Adviser from UNICEF; Susan Goodell, The CEO of the Global Fund for Children; various Directors from the United Nations; and many more.
