For the 2021 Holiday season, TikTok asked Eventique to create a different experience for its second virtual holiday event to increase employee momentum. The goal was to bring together as many TikTok offices as possible, and include as many program moments for employees to show their creativity and friendly competitive nature.
Eventique took inspiration from trains being a holiday staple, utilizing a modern-day subway to connect the key TikTok office locations in a custom 3D environment design. Lil Jon was tapped as the “conductor,” using the holiday graffiti-covered train car to guide guests through the program. At each stop, Lil Jon would introduce video and creator features from each market, along with employee game competitions played remotely from their homes.
Additional highlights of the event included a live trivia game hosted by TikTok employees, with a grand finale of a Lil Jon DJ set, situated in a fictitious “Funky Town” final train destination.
