With friends and family from all over the world planning to attend their wedding, Gharam and Hashem chose New York as a centralized destination, and wanted an authentic New York City experience for their milestone event. After understanding the vision the couple had in mind, Eventique presented The Foundry, a 19th Century industrial building in bustling Long Island City, where the venue’s indoor-outdoor features and exposed raw architecture would lay the groundwork for the environment that the couple wished to evoke.
Eventique utilized all facets of the sprawling property while incorporating the personal tastes of Gharam and Hashem. As guests entered the property’s Green House, they were greeted with beverages, small bites, and a classical harpist. Upon entering the ivy-covered courtyard, the mood was elevated with authentic Arabian music along with The Zaffa, a traditional wedding march incorporating the couple’s culture. They were surrounded with tree like orchids and beautiful chandeliers, giving the guests a lavish experience.
For the final phase of the reception, friends and family enjoyed extensive live music and dancing in the Main Room, making it hard for the night to end. Each room was carefully curated by Eventique, and the agency’s most upscale vendors with elegant floral, decor and lighting transformed the space into a sophisticated chic evening that attendees would always remember.
