Polaroid embraces nostalgia, the avant garde of the instant photo, and are innovators of giving old technologies a new life. The 80-year-old global film and camera company approached Eventique to promote its newest camera, Polaroid POP, with a similar approach — to help put an iconic camera and its signature instant prints into a contemporary setting.
Eventique produced a live Instagram streamed event, hosted by THUSS+FARRELL, a husband and wife creative duo, and Bryanboycom, an Instagram influencer and fashion, beauty, and travel blogger.
Attendees at the event and viewers on their devices were taken through four fun and funky different scenes of the party. Within the staged 15 minute live stream, Polaroids were snapped, displayed and enjoyed on uniquely crafted decor, ranging from an umbrella with holding hooks, DIY hanging tassel frames, bold red accent furniture, a colorful selfie station, and a craft station to make unique frames for even more unique photos.
From the entry of the party to selfies with the Polaroid POP, every picture tells a story of how to engage with the camera in a fun, DIY-esque way.
