The multinational health, hygiene and home products company RB (Reckitt Benckiser) looks to Eventique to elevate their employee conferences into team-building experiences. For RB’s 2018 deployment conference, the agency was tasked to source a location that would equally fulfill its meeting requirements for 800 people while offering an environment of conventional and unconventional entertainment options.
After sourcing the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Eventique created a three day program, beginning with a welcome reception, two general sessions for different units of the company, then leading to 18 breakout room options. The following day focused on team building and entertainment; half the group competed on a 15,000 acre custom race course in the Mojave Desert, while the other half embarked on a scavenger hunt on the Vegas strip.
What followed for the group who chose to stay on the strip was an opportunity to make history. With inspiration from RB looking to breaking sales records, Eventique figured there could be an opportunity to break a world record. The agency coordinated with Guinness World Records to have an adjudicator officiate RB’s team in breaking the world record of most school backpacks packed within an hour. The saying “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” was completely disregarded with this milestone.
To celebrate the daytime achievements, the evening’s entertainment included two of the top restaurants on the Vegas strip, a private performance by comedian Sebastian Maniscalco, and concluded with a gala awards dinner.
